Matthew spearheads the family, general occupancy and senior affordable multifamily development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. He oversees the entire project lifecycle, starting from site identification and conceptualization, through securing funding, land development, closing financing packages, overseeing construction, and finally, ensuring the projects achieve stabilized operations.
Before his current role, Matt served as Vice President of Development at a nationally renowned affordable housing firm. Prior to that, he worked as a developer with a nonprofit organization focusing development efforts on the Mid-Atlantic region. In this capacity, Matt collaborated closely with local communities and regional partners to execute projects that addressed the ever-present need for affordable housing. Before transitioning to the affordable housing sector, Matt accumulated significant experience as a project manager, analyst, and process strategist through his work at an asset management firm and as a consultant for the federal government. Matt’s educational background includes an MBA from the University of Baltimore, an MA in History from Penn State, and a BA in History from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
