Greg leads Volker’s development efforts for new communities in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. He collaborates with local and state agencies, community partners, as well as private lenders and investors, to provide housing solutions to communities in these markets. Greg oversees every facet of the development process for these communities, from site identification and financial structuring to construction management and project lease-up.
With over thirteen years of experience, Greg has cultivated his expertise across both non-profit and for-profit sectors of affordable housing development. His development experience includes various project types, spanning from new constructions to rehabilitations, historic renovations, mixed-use developments, and projects utilizing HUD and FHA financing, as well as 9% LIHTC, 4% LIHTC, and numerous gap financing mechanisms. In his prior roles, Greg served as Vice President of Development for a nationally acclaimed development firm and previously as Director of Real Estate Development for a nonprofit housing developer in Cleveland. In these capacities, he effectively managed and supervised the organization’s multifamily and single-family development endeavors.
